Sim rule on alts

You may not bring an alt other than your main character into the city, unless it's listed in your application for citizenship (including the specific reason for the alt).

 

Otherwise, if you already sent an application, you may next advise an OOC Mod Counsel member of the name and purpose of the alt, and you must do this in advance of bringing the alt into the city.

 

If you do not do so, it is cause for being banned from the city. You must also declare every alt and the purpose of that alt that you would bring into the city, no exceptions.

 

You may not at any time have more than one character (main or alt) in the city at the same time, as this will result in an immediate ban. The only exception is that an extra alt may be used for approved some administrative purposes such as the alt is managing a store or a is an approved builder, but all activity must be declared and approved in advance.

 

No two alts of the same person may engage in RP at the same time in the city, unless there is complete declaration and prior approval for this activity, per the above, Any violation of this rule is cause for immediate ban.

On active participation

For all citizens, we expect regular active participation. Meaning you are to RP activly with others on sim and not only your own household. Exceptions are vacation, sick, work, family emergency, internet failure and such. Other reasons are you need to step back OOCly from the RP for a cool off period. Other exceptions will be considered case-by-case by the OOC Mod Counsel.

 

You may notify any Mod Counsel member to satisfy this requirement. You may also e-mail jasminemods@gmail.com if you cannot get on SL to make the notification. Keep this address handy, if you don't, you could lose your role and position at Jasmine if you disappear too long and make no notification.

 

If you have a non-key smaller role, we consider 5 hours per week to be the minimum. If you can't give more than that, then don't bother applying to be a citizen and just remain as a visitor only.

 

Key roles higher up the chain of command, and especially Head of Caste (HoC) members, minimum participation is 10 hours per week. If you are absent without prior grant and approval from the Mod Counsel, you can be replaced in your role as soon as anyone else expresses an interest in trying your role. This can be automatic and you will be notified if it happens. You may not argue after the fact about this as you are responsible to know the rules.

 

If you wish to rent a house at Jasmine, you must meet the minimum hours per week requirement. Systems are in place to determine how much time each person spends in the city per week.

 

If 10 hours per week is becoming too much for you, then request to step down to a lower role and responsibility on the sim, or if it;s less than 5 hours, asked to be removed from citizenship and convert to visitor status.
